Tom Meganck
Tom MeganckChairman
Tom is the president of the Belgian Club Hong Kong. He lives in Hong Kong since 5 years, with Leslie, their two teenager daughters and a little son. Tom works in finance, has worked in Luxembourg and Monaco before moving to Hong Kong. He loves contemporary art and dance is a co-director of of a non profit in the art field.
Leslie Van Eyck

Leslie Van Eyck has been living in Hong Kong since 2010 with her partner Tom Meganck and their three lovely kids Elena (14) Carlotta (13) and Matteo (2). As a member of the Belgian Club she organises various events going from the legendary Mussel Party on Middle Island to many family oriented activities. She loves the city of Hong Kong with its stunning landscapes and above all is passionate about the growing art scene.

Steven leads Asia Business Development Group. His team represents western including Belgian companies in this region. Steven has been in HK since 2010, and is a keen waterskier and swimmer. Steven is the Club’s treasurer.

I am Isabelle Van den Abbeel. I live in Hong Kong since August 2012, together with my husband and 2 sons.

I like going hiking with the Belgian hiking Club “the Walkie Talkies” once a week, and I’m an assistant teacher in the Dutch School.
I love participating in the annual Dragon boat Race in June with our Belgian Club team.
I’m also a volunteer leader in the Cub Scouts in Stanley.
I love strolling around in the city and exploring the different areas Hong Kong has to offer.

Since January 2014 I’m a member of the Belgian Club Committee.
I like being involved in child-oriented activities like the Sinterklaasparty in december and the Easter Egg Hunt in April.

My wife & I have been in HK for over three years now, and we enjoy life in this city each year a little more. I joined the Belgian Club committee last year to help with the website and comms. Do get in touch if you want me to some news or fun events!

Me and my husband Paul, have been living in Hong Kong for 10 years now.

Apart from my weekly hike with the Belgian Hong Kong Walkie Talkies, I also volunteer in the library of the Dutch school.

I’m involved in the organization of several events such as the Lantern festival, Saint Nicolas/Sinterklaas, Easter egg hunt and the Quiz. I hope to meet you at one of those events!

Ingeborg and her family, husband Bruno, daughter Margot (12) and son Lucas (9) have been living for almost 3 years in Hong Kong, after spending 6 years in Singapore and 5 years in Paris.

Besides tennis with the Hong Kong Ladies Tennis League, she loves to hike with the Belgian Hong Kong Walkie Talkies every Tuesday and do some yogalates to stretch all those sore muscles.

Ingeborg and Bruno have been participating every year since their arrival in the Stanley International Dragon Boat Championships with the Belgian team.

She’s looking forward to see you at the monthly ladies lunch or at one of the many events organized by the Belgian club!
